Jennifer Barnett, NCPT

Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher credential

Comprehensively certified classical Pilates instructor

My first Pilates class was in a school library in Minnesota in 2000. I left feeling taller, more relaxed and unusually stronger—and I stayed curious.

After years of practice and comprehensive Peak Pilates training across the Mat, Reformer, Chair, Spine Corrector, Barrel and Ped-o-Pull, I opened The People’s Pilates to pass on the classical method in a way that is welcoming, intelligent and useful.

I love seeing people become stronger and more confident in their movement—and in their lives.

Beth, Pilates instructor at The People’s Pilates

Beth

Beth is a Pilates instructor currently working towards completing her Level 5 training. Her Pilates journey began more than a year before she started instructor training, and she quickly fell in love with the method and its positive impact on both body and mind. Growing up, she trained in gymnastics and dance, developing a strong appreciation for body awareness, strength, flexibility and technique. Pilates felt like a natural progression, combining these elements while helping people move with greater confidence and control. Beth is passionate about creating supportive and enjoyable classes where clients can improve their strength, mobility, posture and overall wellbeing.

A lifelong runner, Ailey has experienced firsthand how Pilates can support strength, ease and resilience alongside sport. After graduating with a degree in Marketing and Business, she realised her passion lies in working directly with people and making a meaningful difference. Drawn to the Classical method, Ailey is passionate about preserving its original principles and helping others understand that Pilates is far more than exercise. Her goal is to create a space where everyone feels welcome, supported and comfortable exactly as they are, leaving each session stronger, more connected and a little lighter than when they arrived.
